About Negin Saberi

Negin completed her law degree in Iran. She has always had an interest in addressing fundamental questions about the nature of law and its relations with society and justice.

In order to further her interest, Negin obtained her LL.M. in Advanced Legal Studies from University of Warwick in the UK and her thesis focused on popular legal culture.

Negin passed the Iranian bar exam and worked as a lawyer in international corporate and energy law. After launching a career as a lawyer in her home country, Iran, Negin decided to immigrate to Canada and she completed her Master of Common Law at Peter Allard School of Law in UBC.

Before joining Sodagar Nielsen Law Group, Negin was a Public Interest Family Law Advocate. From this experience, Negin brings to her practice a compassionate, client-centered approach and an ability to work effectively with people experiencing family and immigration problems.

Negin's international experience brings insight into serving diverse clients with their complex and interjurisdictional legal matters.

Negin enjoys her time outside of the work playing flute, reading and yoga.
