Negin Saberi, LLB (Shahid Behshti), LLM (University of Warwick), LLM (UBC)
Negin completed her law degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, Iran. She has always had an interest in addressing fundamental questions about the nature of law and its relations with society and justice.
In order to further her interest, Negin obtained her LL.M. in Advanced Legal Studies from University of Warwick in the UK and her thesis focused on popular legal culture.
Negin passed the Iranian bar exam in 2016 and worked as a lawyer in International Corporate and Energy law. After launching a career as a lawyer in her home country, Iran, Negin decided to immigrate to Canada and she completed her Master of Laws at Peter Allard School of Law in UBC in 2018.
Before joining Sodagar Nielsen Law Group, Negin worked as a Public Interest Family Law Advocate.
Negin brings to her practice a compassionate, client-centered approach and an ability to work effectively with people experiencing family and immigration problems.
Negin’s international experience brings insight into serving diverse clients with their complex and interjurisdictional legal matters.
Outside the office, you can find Negin playing flute, doing yoga, and reading fiction books.
