Khash completed his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts at Simon Fraser University. During his studies, Khash was awarded six scholarships, including the Graduate International Research Travel Award to conduct research at Harvard, Library of Congress in Washington D.C., and the National Archives of the United Kingdom for his Master’s thesis.
Khash started working at Sodagar Nielsen when he was completing Master of Arts and his experience at the firm encouraged him to pursue a career in law.
Upon finishing his MA, Khash worked as a Clerk at the Provincial Court of British Columbia in order to further his legal work experience.
Khash has earned his LL.B with Honours at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom, where he was awarded the Herbert Smith Freehills LLP Prize for Top Performing First Year Student.
Khash has also summered at Sodagar Nielsen Law Group. As a Summer Student, Khash appeared with Ms. Sodagar before both the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia on various acrimonious family files. He has also worked on immigration files where he prepared pleadings to the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and the Federal Court of Canada.
Khash completed his Master of Laws at Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2020.
He continues to develop his knowledge of family, immigration and civil law, with a mandate to move clients forward with compassion.
Khash has a passion for soccer, art, architecture and history, which has encouraged him to travel in his spare time in pursuit of his interests.
